Shriya got many offers in the Tamil movie industry to be cast opposite many lead heroes but she was not able to accept them as she was busy working for the movie Sivaji with Super Star Rajinikanth. The director of the movie Shankar had advised not to sign up for new projects until she completes the shooting for the movie Sivaji. Now that the movie Sivaji has completed the shooting and the post production works for the movie have started and Shriya is able to sign up new movies. She will be working with Vijay in the movie Azhagiya Tamil Magan. It is said that the shooting of the movie will start once Vijay has completed the movie Pokkiri with Asin in the female lead role which is directed by Prabhu Deva
